The Middle School program at Heritage Christian Academy helps students transition from elementary learning into greater academic independence and personal responsibility.
During these important years, students begin to think more critically, explore deeper academic concepts, and develop strong study habits while continuing to grow in their Christian faith.
Our goal is to guide students through this stage with strong academics, supportive mentorship, and a Christ-centered foundation.
Grades Offered
The middle school program includes:
- 6th Grade
- 7th Grade
- 8th Grade
Students are encouraged to develop independence, leadership skills, and confidence as they prepare for high school and future academic challenges.
Core Academic Subjects
Middle school students receive instruction in a range of subjects designed to strengthen academic skills and expand knowledge.
Language Arts
Students focus on reading comprehension, writing development, grammar, and literature analysis while strengthening communication skills.
Mathematics
The math program builds on earlier foundations and prepares students for advanced coursework through problem-solving and logical reasoning.
Science
Students explore scientific concepts through hands-on learning, critical thinking, and observation while recognizing God’s design in creation.
Social Studies / History
Students study historical events, geography, and cultures while developing a deeper understanding of civic responsibility and world perspectives.
Bible & Spiritual Development
Spiritual growth remains central to the middle school experience.
Students participate in:
- Bible study and scripture learning
- Weekly chapel services
- Character development
- Faith-based discussions in class
Our goal is to help students grow in their faith while learning how to apply Biblical principles in everyday life.
Developing Leadership & Responsibility
Middle school is a time when students begin developing important life skills.
