Whether you have a few hours each month or are able to volunteer regularly, we would love to have you become part of the HCA family.

Volunteers help us provide opportunities that would not be possible otherwise. Your time and talents directly impact our students and support our teachers.

Volunteer Requirements
To help maintain a safe learning environment, all volunteers must:
- Complete a Volunteer Application
- Pass any required background screening before working with students
- Follow all school policies and procedures
- Maintain student confidentiality
- Follow the directions of school staff at all times
Some volunteer opportunities may require additional training.
Expectations
Our volunteers serve as positive Christian role models for our students. We ask that all volunteers:
- Demonstrate kindness, patience, and professionalism
- Support the mission and values of Heritage Christian Academy
- Use respectful language and behavior
- Dress appropriately for a school environment
- Respect classroom instruction and teacher authority
- Refrain from posting photos or videos of students on personal social media unless expressly authorized by the school

Do I have to be a parent to volunteer?
No. Grandparents, relatives, church members, alumni, and other community supporters are welcome to apply.
Will I need a background check?
Will I need a background check?
Yes. All Heritage Christian Academy volunteers are required to successfully complete a background check and receive approval from the school prior to volunteering on campus or participating in school activities. This requirement helps ensure the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and school community.
Can I volunteer during my child’s class?
Classroom volunteers are coordinated through the school office and classroom teacher to minimize disruption to instruction.
Can I volunteer if I only have a few hours available?
Absolutely. We appreciate volunteers regardless of how much time they are able to give.
